A friend of mine just published a new cookbook and I would like to share a recipe with you that I have fixed twice. This is so easy and so delicious. The name of the cookbook is--Full of It. Healthy recipes without all the B.S. (Bad Stuff)
Green Beans
One 16 ounce bag frozen green beans
1/4 cup avocado oil
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt. ( I used only about a half teaspoon.)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place green beans on parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Pour oil over beans, coating well. Sprinkle onion power, garlic powder, and salt over beans. Stir. Bake 30 minutes, stirring halfway through baking time.

I just resurrected an old recipe. It is so good that I wanted to share it.
Five Hour Stew
2 lb. stew meat
4 carrots large dice
2 potatoes chunked
2 stalks celery chunked
1/2 green pepper chunked
1 med Spanish onion chunked
Place all the above in a dutch oven, something with a tight lid.
Add the following and sprinkle over top.
3 tbsp minute tapioca
1 1/2 tsp salt
Pepper- opt.
1 tbsp sugar (scant)
Pour two 6 oz cans of V-8 vegetable juice over all. Cover and bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours. Do not remove the lid until 5 hours are up. This has no pre-cooking.

My granddaughter called me for this recipe and it reminded me of good times. I received this about 50 years ago and it has been a favorite ever since. I usually double it as it goes so fast.
Pretzel Dip (can also be used with vegetables)
1 pkg Philadelphia Cream Cheese
Garlic or onion salt
1 small onion chopped fine
1 beef bullion cube dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature until soft.
Sprinkle garlic or onion salt on top. (About 1/8 to 1/4 tsp.
Add bullion mixture and whip. Add chopped onion.
